Liquid Collection and transport swabs – NAAM (Nucleic Acid Amplification Medium)
Swabs with light blue screw cap tube containing 2 mL of collection and preservation medium, suitable for transportation and inactivation of clinical specimens intended for the analysis with NAAT (Nucleic Acid Amplification Test). The medium contains guanidine thiocyanate, a potent nuclease inhibitor (RNase and DNase), as well as a protein denaturing agent.
The special medium composition stabilizes RNA and DNA of Viruses (including SARS-COV-2), Bacteria, Chlamydia and Mycoplasma.Not intended for use with culture-based techniques or in antigen testing. Pre-labelled test tube to allow a correct sample identification.
